Fernando de Goes

I am a research scientist at Pixar Animation Studios. My research centers on numerical methods for geometry processing and computational physics. I received a PhD degree in computer science from Caltech in jun/2014, working under the supervision of Prof. Mathieu Desbrun. My work was supported by a Google PhD Fellowship. Before Caltech, I attended Unicamp, where I earned an engineering degree in 2006 and a master degree in 2009. I also worked as a R&D engineer at PDI/DreamWorks from aug/2014 to feb/2015, as a research intern at Pixar in the summer of 2011 and 2013, and as a software engineer intern at Google in 2008.
